On Saturday four of our swimmers were up with the larks to attend the Aquae Sulis Sprint Meet at Hengrove’s International Pool in Bristol, along with around 130 other swimmers from 12 other clubs. Zoe, Molly, Hattie and Erica each entered four 50m races and the 100m individual medley. They also teamed up for two 4x50m relays – medley and freestyle.
Overall they came away with 7 medals, despite some very strong swims from the other competitors, some of whom had swum in this summer’s National Championships! The girls also improved their times in nearly all their races.
Great swimming all round.
